First, I have a new poem section up at Poetry! It a bit of a much longer piece I’ve been working on for something like two and a half years.
Second, I’m in the middle of a year-end analysis of… well, “things”. I’m still trying to sort out how this whole business works, both in the practical sense, and in the “does this align with my values” sense. So I’m looking at templating, branding, effort, all that, and how that might change in 2024. It’s a Leap Year, after all. I’ve had to move the newsletter to Buttondown since Tinyletter has been smothered to death by Mailchimp, so the first thing on the docket is finishing the transition there, though I’m tempted to do a templating/layout change here. I feel like there’s so much wasted space with this template.
In any case, next year is gonna be different, and not in that abstract “Things are gonna change, I can feel it” way. They’re actually gonna change. To what degree? That’s the part I’m not sure about yet. I’ll see you on the other side.
